Meribel sits in the heart of the vast 'Les Trois Vallées' ski area and has developed into an international class ski resort. Local regulations on the construction of the buildings were put in place in the early stages of development of Meribel ski resort and as a result of these restrictions Meribel has become one of the prettiest ski resorts in France. The village has plenty to offer with a good number of restaurants and bars, shopping, an indoor complex with ice skating rink, swimming pool and ten pin bowling.

Due to it's perfect location in the centre of the largest ski area in the universe, Meribel has become a popular ski destination. As part of the 'Les Trois Vallees' ski area, Meribel offers access to over 600km of piste and makes the ideal starting point from which to discover this vast domain. Great for beginners and experts alike, Meribel offers easy access to the immediate pistes as well as the superbly linked slopes in the Courchevel valley(includes La Tania, Le Praz, Courchevel 1550, 1650 & 1850) and Belleville valley(includes Val Thorens, Les Menuires and St Martin de Belleville).
